At the end of January and beginning of February we held our second course in the UK, this time in London. This was our first course in collaboration with the Department for Education and the Anna Freud Centre.
The week was filled of important discussions pertaining to how to invite youth to take center stage in YAM and how to set a genuinely safe space while also navigating your responsibilities as an adult in the classroom. Some of the new YAM instructors are going into trial schools around London as early as March and we look forward to hearing about it.
